John Studholme was born on 10 February 1863.2 He was the son of John Studholme and Lucy Ellen Sykes Moorhouse.1 He married, firstly, Alexandra Thomson, daughter of Most Reverend William Thomson and Zoë Skene, on 23 June 1897.2 He married, secondly, Katherine Georgina Bowen, daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Christopher Bowen, in 1910.3 He died on 26 May 1934 at age 71.3
