     John Harward Jessop Handcock was born on 22 October 1829.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Gustavus Handcock and Frances Flood Jessop.² He married, firstly, Frances Devereux, daughter of Reverend Nicholas Devereux, on 23 July 1856.¹ He married, secondly, Lucy Carr, daughter of Reverend Edward Carr, on 16 April 1873.¹ He died on 27 October 1907 at age 78.¹
     He was the Vicar between 1860 and 1907 at St. Mary's Church, Woodlands, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹

     Reverend Nicholas Devereux lived at Ballyrankin House, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹

     Frances Devereux was the daughter of Reverend Nicholas Devereux.² She married John Harward Jessop Handcock, son of Rev. Hon. John Gustavus Handcock and Frances Flood Jessop, on 23 July 1856.¹ She died on 4 February 1864.¹
     From 23 July 1856, her married name became Handcock.

     Maria Handcock was the daughter of John Harward Jessop Handcock and Frances Devereux.² She died on 20 April 1870, young.¹

     Harward Devereux Handcock was born on 21 July 1874.¹ He was the son of John Harward Jessop Handcock and Lucy Carr.² He married Eleanor Winifred Potts, daughter of Henry John Potts, on 1 January 1907.¹ He died on 8 February 1944 at age 69.¹

     Eleanor Winifred Potts was the daughter of Henry John Potts.¹ She married Harward Devereux Handcock, son of John Harward Jessop Handcock and Lucy Carr, on 1 January 1907.¹ She died on 25 January 1966.¹
     From 1 January 1907, her married name became Handcock.

     John Harward Handcock was born on 12 July 1924.¹ He is the son of Harward Devereux Handcock and Eleanor Winifred Potts.² He married Brenda Terrill Simpson, daughter of Donald Stewart Alexander Simpson, on 12 February 1949.¹
     He lived in 2003 at Anderida, Brook Green, Cuckfield, Sussex, England^G.¹
