     Major Ian Graham Menzies was born in 1896.² He was the son of John Graham Menzies and Susannah West Wilson.² He married Alice Stöttinger. He died in 1979.²

Pierce Alan Somerset David Butler was born on 12 November 1909.¹ He was the son of Charles Ernest Alfred French Somerset Butler, 7th Earl of Carrick and Ellen Rosemond Mary Lindsay.² He married, firstly, Leri Llewelyn-Jones, daughter of Dr. Griffith Llewelyn-Jones, on 9 June 1933.¹ He and Leri Llewelyn-Jones were divorced in 1957.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothea Bennett, daughter of Thomas Warwick Bennett, on 2 July 1957.¹ He died on 11 January 1964 at age 54.¹
