Patrick Carnegie of Lour was born after 1643.2 He was the son of David Carnegie, 2nd Earl of Northesk and Lady Jean Maule.1 He married, firstly, Marjory Threipland, daughter of Sir Patrick Threipland of Fingask, 1st Bt., on 30 October 1682.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Stewart on 27 May 1702.1 He died on 7 December 1723.1
