     John Colquhoun, 3rd of Glens was born circa 1475.² He was the son of Patrick Colquhoun, 2nd of Glens and Margaret Hamilton.¹ He married Lady Catherine Stuart, daughter of Matthew Stuart, 2nd Earl of Lennox and Hon. Elizabeth Hamilton.¹

     Margaret Hamilton is the daughter of Alexander Hamilton of Bathgate.² She married Patrick Colquhoun, 2nd of Glens, son of Patrick Colquhoun, 1st of Glens.²
     Her married name became Colquhoun.²

     Andrew de Harcla, 1st and last Earl of Carlisle was the son of Michael de Harcla.¹ He died on 3 March 1322/23, being hung, drawn and quartered.¹
     He held the office of Warden of Carlisle in 1296.¹ He fought in the Scottish Wars between 1304 and 1311.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland in 1312.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1312 and 1315.¹ He held the office of Warden of Carlisle Castle in 1313.¹ He held the office of Warden of the West Marches in 1319.¹ He held the office of Warden of Cumberland in 1319.¹ He held the office of Warden of Westmorland in 1319.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1319 and 1322.¹ He was created 1st Lord Harcla [England by writ] on 15 March 1321.¹ He fought in the Battle of Boroughbridge on 16 March 1321/22, where he routed the insurgents, and took the Earl of Lancaster prisoner.¹ He was created 1st Earl of Carlisle [England] on 25 March 1322.¹ On 27 February 1322/23 at Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England^G, he was tried for intriguing with the Scots—he aspired to marry the sister of the Scots King.¹ After his execution, his honours and titles were forfeited.¹

     Michael de Harcla held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1285 and 1298.¹

     Sir James Hay was the son of Peter Hay, 3rd of Megginch and Margaret Crichton.² He married Margaret Murray, daughter of John Murray of Polmaise.³ He died in 1610.³
     He lived at Kingask, Scotland^G.¹ In 1608 Comptroller Scotland.³

     Edward Denny, 1st and last Earl of Norwich was born on 15 August 1569.² He was the son of Henry Denny and Honora Grey.³ He married Lady Mary Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter and Dorothy Neville, circa 1590.² He died on 24 October 1637 at age 68, without male issue.²
     He was appointed Knight in 1589.² He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) Westmorland and Essex in 1592.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland from 1592 to 1593.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire from 1602 to 1603.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex in 1604.² He was created 1st Lord Denny, of Waltham [England by writ] on 27 October 1604.¹ He was created 1st Earl of Norwich [England] on 24 October 1626.² On his death, his Earldom expired, although the Barony, having been created by writ of summons, passed to his deceased daughter's son.²

     Lady Mary Cecil was born in 1573.² She was the daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter and Dorothy Neville.¹ She married Edward Denny, 1st and last Earl of Norwich, son of Henry Denny and Honora Grey, circa 1590.³
     From circa 1590, her married name became Denny.¹

     Mabel Miriam van den Bergh was born on 4 June 1873 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Jacob van den Bergh and Lydia Isaacson.^3,2 She married John Benjamin Sainsbury, son of John James Sainsbury and Mary Ann Staples, on 8 January 1896.⁴ She died in 1941.²
     From 8 January 1896, her married name became Sainsbury.¹

     Lisa Ingeborg van den Bergh was born on 3 March 1912 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Professor Simon van den Bergh and Sonia Pokrojski.^1,3 She married Sir Robert James Sainsbury, son of John Benjamin Sainsbury and Mabel Miriam van den Bergh, on 3 March 1937.⁴ She died on 6 February 2014 at age 101 at London, Poland.²
     From 3 March 1937, her married name became Sainsbury.¹

     Professor Simon van den Bergh was born on 16 November 1882 at Oss, The Netherlands.² He was the son of Isaac van den Bergh and Clara van Leer.^3,2 He married Sonia Pokrojski.² He died in 1978 at Monte Carlo, Monaco.²
     He was professor of philosophy at University of Paris, Paris, France.³ He lived at Monte Carlo, Monaco^G.¹
