     William Hore was the son of Colonel William Hore and Catherine Shapland.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Dorothy Ponsonby, daughter of William Ponsonby, 1st Viscount Duncannon and Mary Moore.1 He married, secondly, Mary Grogan, daughter of John Grogan, on 29 August 1743.1 He died in February 1745.1
     He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He lived at Harperstown, Taghmon, County Wexford, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon between 1727 and 1731.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon between 1741 and 1745.1

She married, firstly, Major Andrew Knox, son of Andrew Knox, before 1743.1 She married, secondly, William Hore, son of Colonel William Hore and Catherine Shapland, on 29 August 1743.1 She married, thirdly, Charles Tottenham in 1746.1
     Her married name became Ribton. From before 1743, her married name became Knox.1 From 29 August 1743, her married name became Hore. From after 1745, her married name became Tottenham.1

     Walter Hore was the son of William Hore and Hon. Dorothy Ponsonby.2 He married Lady Anne Stopford, daughter of James Stopford, 1st Earl of Courtown, on 28 May 1758.1 He died on 27 February 1795.1
     He lived at Harperstown, Taghmon, County Wexford, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland].1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Wexford Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wexford in 1793.1
