Reverend William Newton Guinness was born in 1811.2 He was the son of William Lunell Guinness and Susanna Newton.2 He married, firstly, Harriette Trench, daughter of Rear-Admiral Hon. William Le Poer Trench and Sarah Cuppage, on 31 March 1835.3 He married, secondly, Elizabeth D. Percival after 1839.2 He married, thirdly, Harriet F. Day after 1845.2 He died in 1894.2

Lt.-Col. Frederick Æmilius Trench was born on 6 July 1857.1 He was the son of Reverend Frederick William Trench and Matilda Sophia Ireland.1 He married, firstly, Mary Phoebe Gertrude Roberts, daughter of C. W. Roberts, on 29 March 1883.1 He married, secondly, Frances Lee Bryant, daughter of T. J. Bryant, on 21 October 1929.1 He died on 4 January 1942 at age 84, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
