     John la Zouche, 7th Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) was born in 1459.² He was the son of William la Zouche, 6th Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Katherine Lenthall.³ He married Joan Dinham, daughter of Sir John Dinham, 6th Lord Dinham, before 26 February 1486/87.² He died circa March 1525/26.²
     He succeeded as the 7th Baron Zouche, of Haryngworth [E., 1308] on 15 January 1467/68.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Lord Saint Maur [E., 1314] on 15 January 1467/68, de jure.² He succeeded as the 8th Lord Lovel, of Castle Cary on 15 January 1467/68, de jure.² He fought in the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, captured by King Henry VII.² On 7 November 1485 he was attainted by Parliament.² In 1489 his attainder was reveresed.² Between October 1495 and December 1495 his previous dignities were restored.²

     Katharine la Zouche is the daughter of John la Zouche, 7th Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Joan Dinham.² She married, secondly, Sir Robert Brandon, son of Sir William Brandon and Elizabeth Wingfield.¹ She married, firstly, John Carew, son of Sir Nicholas Carew and Elizabeth Croker, in 1498.¹
     Her married name became Brandon.¹ From 1498, her married name became Carew.

     John Carew was the son of John Carew and Katharine la Zouche.² He married Elizabeth Martyn, daughter of Christopher Martyn.¹ He died on 31 May 1528 at Naples, Italy^G, from the plague.¹
