Frederick Campbell was born on 22 April 1779.1 He was the son of Sir James Campbell of Aberuchill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Ann Burn.2 He married Cordelia Mouat, daughter of Captain Stephen P. Mouat.1 He died on 29 December 1816 at age 37.1
