     Hon. Rebecca Flower was the daughter of William Flower, 1st Baron Castle Durrow and Edith Caulfeild.1,2 She married James Agar, son of James Agar and Mary Wemyss, on 6 July 1740.1,3 She died on 3 March 1789.3
     From 6 July 1740, her married name became Agar.1

     James Agar was born on 7 September 1713.2 He was the son of James Agar and Mary Wemyss.3,4 He married Hon. Rebecca Flower, daughter of William Flower, 1st Baron Castle Durrow and Edith Caulfeild, on 6 July 1740.1,2 He died on 3 August 1769 at age 55, killed in a duel with Henry Flood.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gowran.2 He lived at Ringwood, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated 20 October 1761.2

George Agar, 1st and last Baron Callan1

     George Agar, 1st and last Baron Callan was born on 4 December 1751.1 He was the son of James Agar and Hon. Rebecca Flower.1 He died on 29 October 1815 at age 63, without issue.2
     He was educated between 1767 and 1769 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He matriculated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, on 2 April 1770.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callan [Ireland] between 1777 and 1790.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 12 September 1789.1 He was created 1st Baron Callan, of Callan, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 4 June 1790.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1801 and 1815.1
     On his death, his barony became extinct.2
