Charlotte Anne Heckstetter Yea Thompson was born circa 1845.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Thompson.2 She married Ralph Abercromby Cameron, son of Reverend Alexander Cameron and Hon. Charlotte Rice, in 1869.1 She died on 25 March 1910.1

Lt.-Gen. Sir Archibald Rice Cameron was born on 28 August 1870.1 He was the son of Ralph Abercromby Cameron and Charlotte Anne Heckstetter Yea Thompson.2 He died on 18 June 1944 at age 73, unmarried.1
He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.1 He was GOC of the 4th Division between 1927 and 1931.1 He was Colonel Black Watch in 1929.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1931.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1933.1 He was GOC of the Scotland Command between 1933 and 1937.1 He held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle between 1936 and 1937.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1937.1
