     John Cameron is the son of Archibald Cameron and Jean Cameron.² A contract for the marriage of John Cameron and Elizabeth Hamilton was signed on 30 July 1754.¹

     Hon. George Hamilton was born between 1695 and 1699. He was the son of James Hamilton, 6th Earl of Abercorn and Hon. Elizabeth Reading.¹ He married Bridget Coward, daughter of Colonel William Coward, in October 1719.² He died on 3 May 1775.²

     From 30 July 1754, her married name became Cameron. From after 1755, her married name became de Fay.¹

     Captain John Cameron was the son of John Cameron and Elizabeth Hamilton.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Donald Cameron is the son of Archibald Cameron and Jean Cameron.² He married Mary Guy.¹
     He was a banker.¹ He lived at Valentines, Essex, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1791.¹

     Colonel Chichester de Windt Crookshank, 7th of Drumhalry was born on 18 October 1868.³ He was the son of Arthur Chichester William Crookshank.⁴ He married Mary Murray Usher, daughter of Andrew Usher and Marion Blackwood Murray, on 31 March 1910.⁵ He died on 23 October 1958 at age 90.
     He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)⁵ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)⁵ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Lothian.⁵ He lived at Johnstounburn, Humble, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Berwick and Haddington between 1924 and 1929.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Bootle between 1931 and 1935.⁵

     Charles Hay Cameron was born in 1795.¹ He was the son of Charles Cameron and Lady Margaret Hay.³ He married Julia Margaret Pattle, daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de l'Etang, in 1838.¹ He died in 1880.¹
     He was legal member of the Council of India.¹ He lived at Freshwater, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹
