     Constance Nora Barne Inskip was born on 14 April 1883.¹ She was the daughter of James Inskip and Constance Sophia Louisa Hampden.² She married Francis Edward Douglas, son of Reverend Robert Douglas, on 1 December 1909.¹ She died on 31 May 1945 at age 62.¹
     From 1 December 1909, her married name became Douglas.

     Marie Elizabeth Burton Allen is the daughter of Major Richard Burton Allen.¹ She married, firstly, Iain Maxwell Erskine, 2nd Baron Erskine of Rerrick, son of John Maxwell Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Rerrick and Henrietta Dunnett, on 20 July 1955.² She and Iain Maxwell Erskine, 2nd Baron Erskine of Rerrick were divorced in 1964.² She married, secondly, Major Denis James Alexander, 6th Earl of Caledon, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander and Millicent Valla Meredyth, on 4 August 1964.¹
     From 20 July 1955, her married name became Erskine. From 4 August 1964, her married name became Alexander.¹ After her marriage, Marie Elizabeth Burton Allen was styled as Countess of Caledon on 10 July 1968.

     Major Richard Burton Allen lived at Benvheir House, Ballachulish, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.¹
