Ninian Stewart of Ardmaleish was the son of James Stewart of Kilcattan. He married, firstly, unknown Campbell.1 He married, secondly, Janet Dunlop circa 10 August 1506.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Blair, daughter of John Blair of that Ilk and Beatrice Mortoun, circa 15 October 1516.1 He died in 1539.1
