     Captain Sir William Chaloner Burnaby, 2nd Bt. was born in 1746.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir William Burnaby, 1st Bt. and Margaret (?)¹ He married Elizabeth Molyneux, daughter of Crisp Molyneux and Catherine Montgomerie, on 28 June 1783 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died on 19 February 1794.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in March 1794.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Burnaby [G.B., 1767] circa 1776.¹

     Elizabeth Molyneux was born circa 1762.² She was the daughter of Crisp Molyneux and Catherine Montgomerie.^1,2 She married Captain Sir William Chaloner Burnaby, 2nd Bt., son of Vice-Admiral Sir William Burnaby, 1st Bt. and Margaret (?), on 28 June 1783 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ She died on 28 February 1816.²
     From 28 June 1783, her married name became Burnaby.¹

     Catherine Montgomerie is the daughter of George Montgomerie.¹

     Sir William Crisp Hood Burnaby, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1788.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir William Chaloner Burnaby, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Molyneux.¹ He married Eleanor (?) on 2 May 1818.¹ He died on 1 August 1853 at Bermuda^G, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Burnaby [G.B., 1767] on 19 February 1794.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval Academy, Gosport, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1806, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1814.¹ He was commander of the H.M.S. Ardent, a prison ship between 1814 and 1816 at Bermuda^G.¹

     Eleanor (?) married, firstly, Joseph Wood before 1818.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Crisp Hood Burnaby, 3rd Bt., son of Captain Sir William Chaloner Burnaby, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Molyneux, on 2 May 1818.¹ She died circa 1880.¹
     From before 1818, her married name became Wood.¹ From 2 May 1818, her married name became Burnaby.¹

     Joseph Wood married Eleanor (?) before 1818.¹ He died before 1818.¹
     He lived at Long House, Bermuda^G.¹
