Catherine Bysse was the daughter of John Bysse and Margaret Edgworth.1 She married Sir Richard Bulkeley, 1st Bt., son of Reverend William Bulkeley and Elizabeth Mainwaring, in 1659.1 She died on 8 February 1661/62.1 She was buried on 14 February 1661/62 at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

Sir Richard Bulkeley, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 August 1660.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Bulkeley, 1st Bt. and Catherine Bysse.1 He married Lucy Downing, daughter of Sir George Downing, 1st Bt. and Frances Howard, on 16 February 1685/86 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 7 April 1710 at age 49, without issue.1 He was buried at Ewell, Surrey, EnglandG.1
