     John Clere Parsons was born in 1760.1 He was the son of Sir William Parsons, 4th Bt. and Mary Clere.1 He married Mary Anne Moore, daughter of William Moore, in November 1805.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Chief Commissioner of the Insolvent Court [Ireland].1 He had two younger sons and two daughters.1

     Mary Anne Moore was the daughter of William Moore.1 She married John Clere Parsons, son of Sir William Parsons, 4th Bt. and Mary Clere, in November 1805.1
     Her married name became Parsons.

     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)3
