General Henry Lee III also went by the nick-name of 'Light Horse Harry'.1 He graduated from College of New Jersey, Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A.G, in 1773.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Virginia Dragoons.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1778.1 He fought in the Battle of Paulus Hook on 19 August 1779, where he won a gold medal.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He was Delegate to the Continental Congress between 1786 and 1788.1 He held the office of Governor of Viriginia between 1791 and 1794.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1798 in the U.S. Army.1 He held the office of Member of the House of Representatives [U.S.] between 1799 and 1800, for Virginia.1
