William Bird Brodie was born on 26 September 1780.1 He was the son of Reverend Peter Bellinger Brodie and Sarah Collins.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Hussey, daughter of Thomas Hussey, on 18 October 1810.1 He married, secondly, Frances Huntley, daughter of Reverend Richard Huntley, on 5 March 1826.1 He died in 1863.1
