     Robert Victor Britten was born in 1877 at Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Britten and Mary Charlotte Ginders.2 He was baptised on 31 March 1877 at St. Paul, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.2 He married Edith Rhoda Hockey, daughter of Henry William Hockey. He died in 1934.1
