     Mary Sherrington was baptised on 4 June 1663 at St. Peter's Church, Cornhill, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of William Sherrington and Elizabeth (?)1,2 She married Sir William Luckyn, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Capell Luckyn, 2nd Bt. and Mary Grimston, on 1 December 1681 at St. Peter's Church, Cornhill, London, EnglandG.2 She died circa November 1749.2
     From 1 December 1681, her married name became Luckyn.2

     Jean Cooke was the daughter of James Cooke.1 She married William Grimston, 1st Viscount Grimston, son of Sir William Luckyn, 3rd Bt. and Mary Sherrington, on 14 August 1706.2 She died on 12 March 1765.1
     From 14 August 1706, her married name became Grimston.1 After her marriage, Jean Cooke was styled as Viscountess Grimston on 29 May 1719.

     Sir William Harbord, 1st Bt. was the son of John Morden and Judith Cropley.2 He married Elizabeth Britiffe, daughter of Robert Britiffe, on 25 April 1732.3 He died on 17 February 1770.3
     He was given the name of William Morden at birth.3 In 1742 his name was legally changed to William Harbord by Act of Parliament, on inheriting Gunton from his maternal uncle.3 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)3 He was created 1st Baronet Harbord [Great Britain] on 22 March 1745/46.3

     Elizabeth Britiffe was the daughter of Robert Britiffe.1 She married Sir William Harbord, 1st Bt., son of John Morden and Judith Cropley, on 25 April 1732.2 She died on 8 August 1777.2
     On 25 April 1732 her name was legally changed to Morden.2 From 1742, her married name became Harbord.

George Byng, 3rd Viscount Torrington was baptised on 21 September 1701 at Southill, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Admiral George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington and Margaret Master.2,3 He married Elizabeth Daniel, daughter of Lyonel Daniel and Martha Master, on 21 August 1736.4 He died on 7 April 1750 at age 48.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel between 1744 and 1748 in the 4th Marines.4 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1747.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Byng of Southill, co. Bedford [G.B., 1721] on 23 January 1746/47.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Byng, of Wrotham, Kent [G.B., 1715] on 23 January 1746/47.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Torrington, co. Devon [G.B., 1721] on 23 January 1746/47.4 He gained the rank of Colonel from 1749 to 1750 in the 48th Foot.4

     Admiral George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington was born on 27 January 1663/64 at Wrotham, Kent, EnglandG.1,3 He was the son of John Byng and Philadelphia Johnson.4 He married Margaret Master, daughter of James Master and Joyce Turnor, on 5 March 1690/91 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.5 He died on 17 January 1732/33 at age 68.1

     John Byng was born circa 1628.2 He was the son of George Bing and Catherine Hewitt.3 He married Philadelphia Johnson, daughter of George Johnson, on 14 April 1662.2 He died in 1683.1
     He was also known as John Bing.2 He was an apprentice draper in June 1646.2 He was a freeman in 1653.2 Before 1658 he traded abroad.2 He sold the Wrotham estate in 1666.4 He lived at Wrotham, Kent, EnglandG.4
