     Robert Dixon was the son of Sir Richard Dixon and Mary Eustace.¹ He died on 5 March 1725.¹
     He lived at Colverstown, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir Walter Borrowes, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Kildare Borrowes, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Dixon.¹ He married Mary Pottinger, daughter of Captain Edward Pottinger, on 18 March 1720.¹ He died on 9 June 1741 at Colverstown, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 January 1742.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] circa May 1709.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harristown [Ireland] between 1721 and 1727.¹ On 5 March 1725 he inherited the estate of Colverstown from his uncle, Robert Dixon.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Athy [Ireland] between 1727 and 1741.¹

     Mary Pottinger was the daughter of Captain Edward Pottinger.¹ She married Sir Walter Borrowes, 4th Bt., son of Sir Kildare Borrowes, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Dixon, on 18 March 1720.¹ She died on 28 September 1763.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in 1764.¹
     From 18 March 1720, her married name became Borrowes.¹

     Captain Edward Pottinger lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Short was the daughter of John Short and Elizabeth Borrowes.¹ She married Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes, 5th Bt., son of Sir Walter Borrowes, 4th Bt. and Mary Pottinger, in February 1759.¹ She died on 23 August 1766.¹
     From February 1759, her married name became Borrowes.¹

     John Short lived at Grange, County Laois, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Borrowes is the daughter of Sir Kildare Borrowes, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Dixon.¹
