     Mary Elizabeth Brinsley Sheridan was born on 19 October 1871 at Frampton Court, Dorset, EnglandG.2,1 She was the daughter of Algernon Thomas Brinsley Sheridan and Mary Lothrop Motley.1 She married, firstly, Sir Charles Garden Assheton-Smith, 1st Bt., son of Robert George Duff and Mary Astley, on 10 July 1894.1 She and Sir Charles Garden Assheton-Smith, 1st Bt. were divorced.1 She married, secondly, Sir Edward Paulet Stracey, 7th Bt., son of Sir Edward Henry Gervase Stracey, 6th Bt. and Mary Gertrude Des Voeux, on 17 December 1902.1 She died on 10 April 1935 at age 63.3
     From 10 July 1894, her married name became Duff.1 From 17 December 1902, her married name became Stracey.1

     Sophie Florence Lothrop Sheridan was born on 19 September 1873 at Long Bredy, Dorset, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Algernon Thomas Brinsley Sheridan and Mary Lothrop Motley.1 She married, firstly, William Hall Walker, 1st Baron Wavertree, son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid, on 29 September 1896.1 She married, secondly, Francis Marion Bates Fisher, son of George Fisher and Laura Emma Tompkins, in 1947.2 She died on 27 November 1952 at age 79.2
     From 29 September 1896, her married name became Walker.1 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.3 After her marriage, Sophie Florence Lothrop Sheridan was styled as Baroness Wavertree on 27 October 1919. She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)1 She lived in 1937 at 54 Avenue Road, London, EnglandG.1 From 1947, her married name became Fisher.2 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)3
