     Christian Law was born on 14 March 1752 at Greystoke, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian.¹ He died on 21 August 1773 at age 21.¹

     Joanna Law was born on 25 November 1753 at Great Salkeld, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian.¹ She married Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt., son of William Rumbold and Dorothy Cheney, on 2 May 1772.² She died on 4 January 1823 at age 69.³
     From 2 May 1772, her married name became Rumbold.¹

     Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. was born on 15 June 1736.³ He was the son of William Rumbold and Dorothy Cheney.⁴ He married, firstly, Frances Berriman, daughter of James Berriman and Frances Aspinwall, on 22 June 1756.³ He married, secondly, Joanna Law, daughter of Rt. Rev. Edmund Law and Mary Christian, on 2 May 1772.⁴ He died on 11 November 1791 at age 55.³
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service in 1752.³ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India.³ He was a tea planter.³ He fought in the Battle of Plassey in 1757, where he was severely wounded.³ He held the office of Governor of Madras.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Shoreham, Sussex.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Melcombe Regis.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shaftesbury.³ He was created 1st Baronet Rumbold, of Woodhall, Watton, Hertford [Great Britain] on 27 March 1779.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth.³ He left all his property to his children by his second wife, for whose benefit he directed that his estate of Woodhall Watton, Hertfordshire, should be sold.³

     Sir George Berriman Rumbold, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 August 1764.³ He was the son of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Frances Berriman.^1,4 He married Caroline Hearn, daughter of James Hearn, in November 1783.³ He died in 1807.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Rumbold, of Woodhall, Watton, Hertford [G.B., 1779] on 11 November 1791.⁴ He was Minister Resident to Hamburg before 1804.³

     Emily Rumbold was born in 1790.² She was the daughter of Sir George Berriman Rumbold, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Hearn.^1,3 She married Baron Ferdinand de Delmar circa 1828.¹ She died on 15 January 1861.²
     From circa 1828, her married name became de Delmar.¹

     Baron Ferdinand de Delmar married Emily Rumbold, daughter of Sir George Berriman Rumbold, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Hearn, circa 1828.¹

     Thomas Rumbold was the son of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Joanna Law.¹ He died in 1799 at St. Peter's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Henry Rumbold is the son of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Joanna Law.¹

     Maria Augusta Dorothea Rumbold was the daughter of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Joanna Law.¹ She married, firstly, Colonel Frederick Manners.² She married, secondly, Sir Grenville Temple, 9th Bt. on 9 June 1812.² She died on 14 February 1852.²
     Her married name became Manners. From 9 June 1812, her married name became Temple.²

     Harriet Rumbold was the daughter of Sir Thomas Rumbold, 1st Bt. and Joanna Law.¹ She died, unmarried.¹
