Captain Henry Keppel was born on 7 August 1848.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Thomas Robert Keppel and Frances Barrett-Lennard.1 He married Alicia Menella Harvey, daughter of Sir Robert John Harvey Harvey, 1st Bt. and Lady Henrietta Augusta Lambart, on 9 June 1874.1 He died on 1 June 1938 at age 89.1
