He held the office of Magistrate of Norfolk Island between 1977 and 1990. Before the war, he had been a mechanic in Maher's Garage. After the war, he worked as a whaler for many years. Then he joined the staff of the Paradise Hotel, then Burns-Philp, then the Customs Department where he worked until he retired. He also was active for 26 years with the Returned Servicemens League.¹

     Agnes MacDonald Crago was born on 17 January 1937.² She married Holder Stanley Christian, son of Cornelius Stephen Holder Christian and Rita Lawrence Taylor, on 18 August 1973.¹ She died on 24 December 2000 at age 63 at Norfolk Island.²
     From 18 August 1973, her married name became Christian.¹

     Denis Harold Christian was born in 1950.² He is the son of Holder Stanley Christian and Muriel Kathleen Glennon.^1,2 He married, secondly, Anna Ines Taylor.² He married, firstly, Noela Marion Black.²
