     Gable Isobel Wilcox Ford was born on 15 October 1928.2 She married Richard John Blackburne, son of Selwyn Blackburne and Helen Bligh Nutting, on 6 February 1951.1 She died on 7 February 2009 at age 80 at 60 Endcliffe Road, Gisborne, New Zealand.2
     Gable Isobel Wilcox Ford also went by the nick-name of Gay. From 6 February 1951, her married name became Blackburne.1
