He married, secondly, Marjorie Ellen Wain in 1942 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.^2,3 He died in May 1988 at Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
     Herbert John Christian also went by the nick-name of Brudsey. Herbert John Christian also went by the nick-name of Bertie. He gained the rank of Corporal in the Australian Imperial Forces.¹

     William Henry Knapton was born on 6 April 1913 at Fiji^G.¹ He married Bertha May Christian, daughter of Herbert John Christian and Ethel Julia Menzies, on 11 December 1937 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died on 1 July 1996 at age 83 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
