Helen Winifred Meysey-Thompson was born on 14 June 1889.² She was the daughter of Henry Meysey Meysey-Thompson, 1st and last Baron Knaresborough and Ethel Adeline Pottinger.^1,2 She married Richard William Davenport Legh, 3rd Baron Newton, son of Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Baron Newton and Evelyn Caroline Bromley Davenport, on 28 January 1914.¹ She died on 28 December 1958 at age 69.¹
     From 28 January 1914, her married name became Legh.¹ After her marriage, Hon. Helen Winifred Meysey-Thompson was styled as Baroness Newton on 21 March 1942.

     Hon. Phyllis Elinor Legh was born on 9 December 1895.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Baron Newton and Evelyn Caroline Bromley Davenport.¹ She married Henry Gerard Walter Sandeman, son of Walter Albert Sandeman, on 31 January 1918.¹ She died in 1986.²
     From 31 January 1918, her married name became Sandeman.¹

     Henry Gerard Walter Sandeman was the son of Walter Albert Sandeman.¹ He married Hon. Phyllis Elinor Legh, daughter of Thomas Wodehouse Legh, 2nd Baron Newton and Evelyn Caroline Bromley Davenport, on 31 January 1918.¹ He died on 19 January 1953.¹
