John Radcliffe, 9th Lord FitzWalter was born on 1 January 1451/52.1 He was the son of John Radcliffe and Elizabeth FitzWalter, Baroness FitzWalter.2 He married Anne Whetehill, daughter of unknown Whetehill.1 He married, secondly, Margaret (?) circa 6 July 1475.1 He died on 24 November 1496 at age 44 at Calais, FranceG, beheaded.3
He was created 9th Lord FitzWalter [E., 1295] in August 1485.1 He held the office of Steward of the Household before 19 October 1485.1 He held the office of Joint Warden and Chief Justice of the King's Forests South of Trent on 14 January 1485/86.1 He held the office of Joint Warden and Chief Justice of all the King's Forests on 25 February 1485/86.1 On 14 October 1495 he was implicated in the conspiracy of Perkin Warbeck and attainted of high treason soon after, when his lands and honours became forfeited.1 At Guines, FranceG, He was imprisoned, and after an abortive jail break was beheaded.1

Amelia Christian was born at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of ManG.1 She was the daughter of Deemster Edward Christian and Dorothy Wilson.1 She married Captain Thomas Huddleston, son of Captain William Huddlestone and Elizabeth Radcliffe.1 She died on 28 August 1689 at Ballachot, Malew, Isle of ManG, by committing suicide.1
Her married name became Huddleston.1 In 1689 the following entry appears in the Church Register of Malew, "Amelia Huddleston, wife of Captain Thomas Huddleston, alias Amelia Christian, cut her own throat in her own bed August 28th, and was buried in the nighttime, unknown, in the Chancel the next night without the knowledge of the Minister."1
