Bolton Meredith Eyres Monsell, 1st Viscount Monsell was born on 22 February 1881.1,2 He was the son of Colonel Bolton James Alfred Monsell and Mary Beverley Ogle.1,2 He married, firstly, Caroline Mary Sybil Eyres, daughter of Henry William Eyres, on 3 December 1904.1,2 He and Caroline Mary Sybil Eyres were divorced in 1950.1,2 He married, secondly, Essex Leila Hilary French, daughter of Major Hon. Edward Gerald Fleming French and Leila Elizabeth Fyfe King, on 25 July 1950.1,2 He died on 21 March 1969 at age 88.1,2

Maurice fitz Thomas, 1st Baron of Kerry and Lixnaw was the son of Sir Thomas fitz Robert.1 He married, firstly, Ellen fitz William, daughter of William fitz Elias.2 He married, secondly, Sibyl (?)2 He died after 14 April 1305 at Molahiffe, County Kerry, IrelandG.2
He was created 1st Baron of Kerry and Lixnaw [Ireland] circa 1295.3 In March 1295/96 he is ordered by the King to be at Whitehaven with his forces.3 In 1297 he was ordered to be ready to serve in the upcoming war with France.3 In January 1299/0 he was summoned to aid in the war with Scotland.3 On 14 April 1305 while on his deathbed, he wished to bestow his lands on his children by his second wife, avoiding his first son, Nicholas.2
