Olivia Johnson-Walsh is the daughter of Sir John Allen Johnson-Walsh, 1st Bt. and Sackvilla Brereton.1,2 She married William Monsell, son of William Thomas Monsell and Hannah Strettell, in 1810.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and John Cromie was made on 30 April 1833.3

William Monsell, 1st Baron Emly was born on 21 September 1812.1 He was the son of William Monsell and Olivia Johnson-Walsh.1 He married, firstly, Lady Anna Maria Charlotte Wyndham-Quin, daughter of Windham Henry Wyndham-Quin, 2nd Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Caroline Wyndham, on 11 August 1836.1 He married, secondly, Berthe de Montigny Boulainvilliers, daughter of Comte Philippe Auguste de Montigny Boulainvilliers, on 23 February 1857.1 He died on 20 April 1894 at age 81.1
