Hon. Charlotte Georgiana Ponsonby was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Ponsonby and Hon. Georgiana Fitzroy.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. John Horace Thomas Stapleton, son of Lt.-Gen. William Stapleton and Anna Maria Keppel, on 8 July 1834.2 She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral Sir Charles Talbot, son of Very Rev. Charles Talbot and Lady Elizabeth Somerset, on 11 December 1838.2 She died on 7 September 1883.3

Lady Letitia Ponsonby was born circa 1720.2 She was the daughter of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson.1 She married Hervey Morres, 1st Viscount Mountmorres, son of Francis Morres and Catherine Evans, on 3 November 1742.2 She died on 9 February 1754.2

Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Ponsonby was the son of William Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Baron Ponsonby of Imokilly and Hon. Louisa Molesworth.1 He married Hon. Georgiana Fitzroy, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles FitzRoy, 1st Baron Southampton and Anne Warren, on 26 January 1807.2 He died on 18 June 1815 at Waterloo, BelgiumG, killed in action.1

William Ponsonby, 3rd Baron Ponsonby of Imokilly was born posthumously on 6 February 1816 at Hampstead, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Ponsonby and Hon. Georgiana Fitzroy.1 He was baptised on 5 April 1817 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.1 He married Maria Theresa Duerbeck on 12 April 1851.2 He died on 2 October 1861 at age 45 at Rottagh, Bayern, GermanyG, without issue.2 He was buried at Rottagh, Bayern, GermanyG.2
He gained the rank of Cornet in 1834 in the 3rd Light Dragoons.1 In 1839 he had to leave England to escape his creditors, as a result of his gambling.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Ponsonby of Imokilly, co. Cork [I., 1806] on 21 February 1855.1

Captain Henry FitzRoy George Talbot was born on 24 February 1874.1 He was the son of Major Henry Charles Talbot and Juliana Augusta Berners.1 He married Susan Blair Athol Allison, daughter of William Allison Allison, on 4 June 1904.1 He died on 3 July 1920 at age 46, from a disease contracted through the war, while on active service.1
