     John Hiram Warmack was born on 2 October 1817 at Tennessee, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was the son of William Seignor Warmack and Millicent Martin Winchester.¹ He married Martha Nancy King, daughter of William Rice and Sarah King, on 13 January 1853 at Davidson County, Tennessee, U.S.A.^G.¹ He died between 1866 and 1868, mortally wounded by a confederate sympathiser.¹
