Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 6th Bt. was born in 1694.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt. and Janet Patterson of Dunmore.2 He married, firstly, Dorothea Chester, daughter of Anthony Chester.2 He married, thirdly, Anne Hay, daughter of Alexander Hay.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Macdonald, daughter of Sir James Macdonald, 13th of Sleat, 6th Bt. and Janet Macleod, circa 1738.1 He died on 24 April 1770.1
