     Mary Lyttelton is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Charles Lyttelton, 3rd Bt. and Anne Temple.^2,1 She married William Plowden, son of Edmund Plowden and Penelope Drummond.¹

     Commander Stephen Clive Lyttelton was born on 17 June 1887.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Temple Lyttelton and Mary Kathleen Clive.¹ He married, firstly, Maureen Nina Smith, daughter of Harold Anthony Smith, on 11 March 1919.¹ He and Maureen Nina Smith were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Cicely Gascoigne, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Ernest Frederick Orby Gascoigne and Laura Cicely Clive, on 11 February 1938.¹ He married, thirdly, Phoebe Hermione Graham, daughter of Archibald Knightly Graham and Dorothy Shuttleworth, on 16 October 1947.¹ He died on 19 February 1959 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1917.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Calcutta between 1937 and 1938.¹

     Margaret Lucy Lyttelton was born on 15 July 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Temple Lyttelton and Mary Kathleen Clive.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Lancelot Edward Becher, son of John Henry Becher and Alice Mary Pickard-Cambridge, on 30 July 1914.¹ She died on 27 April 1970 at age 87 at 16 Brankstone Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, England^G.²

Rev. Hon. Arthur Temple Lyttelton and Mary Kathleen Clive, on 30 July 1914.¹ He died on 28 February 1960 at age 77 at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.^1,3
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England^G.³ He was educated at Royal Indian Engineering College, Cooper's Hill, Surrey, England^G.³ He was commissioned on 1 October 1904, in the service of the Royal Engineers.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 23 June 1907.³ He was Aide-de-Camp to General-Officer-Commanding South Africa between 1908 and 1912.³ He gained the rank of Captain on 30 October 1910.³ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He retired from the military on 1 April 1920, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Royal Engineers.³
