William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby.1 He married Jennifer Ruth Fryer, daughter of Major Evelyn Ronald Moncrieff Fryer and Marjorie Violet Peel, on 15 March 1946.1 He died on 23 January 1989 at age 68 at Brancaster Lodge, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England.1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1
