     Pierre Philippe Colomb was born on 18 September 1744 at Dönneloye, Berne, Switzerland^G.¹ He was the son of Jean Collon and Marguerite (?)¹ He married Maria Elizabeth Burchell on 1 December 1768 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G. He died on 4 June 1799 at age 54.¹

     Clara Elizabeth Douglas Cooke was born in 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Joseph Cooke and Mary Elizabeth Beresford.¹ She died in 1912.²

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the First World War.

     Helen Bourdillon married Captain Christopher William Brodrick Birdwood, son of William Spiller Birdwood and Ellen Frances Turner.¹ She died on 14 April 1951.¹

     Christopher R. Brodrick Birdwood was born on 9 December 1910.^1,2 He was the son of Captain Christopher William Brodrick Birdwood and Helen Bourdillon.¹ He married Sheila Kathleen Woodward, daughter of W. F. Woodward, on 11 February 1939.¹ He died on 8 May 1998 at age 87 at Wandsworth, London, England.^1,2
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Civil Engineers (F.I.C.E.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1966.¹

     Sheila Kathleen Woodward is the daughter of W. F. Woodward.¹ She married Christopher R. Brodrick Birdwood, son of Captain Christopher William Brodrick Birdwood and Helen Bourdillon, on 11 February 1939.¹
     From 11 February 1939, her married name became Birdwood.¹
