     Joan de la Chapelle was born in December 1256.1 She was the daughter of Bartholomew de la Chapelle and Nicole (?)2,3 She married John de Bohun, son of Sir Frank de Bohun and Sibyl de Ferrers.1 She died before 23 March 1327/28.1
     Her married name became de Bohun.1 On 6 July 1285 dower was ordered to be assigned to her.2

     James de Bohun was born on 3 February 1280/81 at Ford, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was the son of John de Bohun and Joan de la Chapelle.1 He married Joan de Brewes, daughter of William de Breuse, 2nd Lord Brewes and Agnes (?), before 1301.2 He died before 30 May 1306.1
     He lived at Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.3 On 28 October 1302 he did homage and had livery of his lands in Ireland.1 He lived at Ballymadden, County Kildare, IrelandG.1

     Joan de Brewes was born before 1290.2 She was the daughter of William de Breuse, 2nd Lord Brewes and Agnes (?)3 She married, firstly, James de Bohun, son of John de Bohun and Joan de la Chapelle, before 1301.3 She married, secondly, Sir Richard Foliot after 16 September 1310.1 She died on 11 May 1324 at St. Benet's Abbey, Holme, Norfolk, EnglandG.1,2
     She was also known as Joan de Breuse.3 From before 1301, her married name became de Bohun.3 On 5 June 1307 dower in Ireland was ordered to be assigned to her.1 From after 16 September 1310, her married name became Foliot.1

     William de Braose, 1st Lord Brewes was born before 1227.3 He was the son of John de Braose and Margaret ferch Llywelyn.3 He married, firstly, Aline de Multon, daughter of Thomas de Multon.3 He married, secondly, Agnes de Moels, daughter of Nicholas de Moels and Hawise de Newmarch.3 He married, thirdly, Mary de Ros, daughter of Sir Robert de Ros and Isabel d'Aubigny, before 1271.3 He died on 6 January 1290/91 at Findon, Sussex, EnglandG.3,4 He was buried on 15 January 1291 at Sele Priory, EnglandG.4

     John de Bohun, 1st Lord Bohun was born on 14 November 1301 at Todham, Easebourne, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was the son of James de Bohun and Joan de Brewes.1 He married, firstly, Isabel de Tregoz, daughter of Sir Henry Tregoz, before 1326.1 He married, secondly, Cicely Filliol, daughter of Sir John Filliol and Margery (?), before 6 November 1342.2 He died on 5 December 1367 at age 66.1
     On 20 May 1323 he did homage and had livery of his lands in England and Ireland.1 In July 1346 he accompanied the King to France, as part of the retinue of the Earl of Arundel, and returned ot England 14 May 1347.1 He was created 1st Lord Bohun [England by writ] on 10 October 1359, although none of his descendants were ever summoned to Parliament.1 He lived at Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1
