Richard Fiennes, 1st Baron Saye and Sele was born circa 1557.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Fiennes and Ursula Fermor.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Codington, daughter of Henry Codington.1 He married, firstly, Constance Kingsmill, daughter of Sir William Kingsmill, circa 1581.1 He died before 6 February 1612/13.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Saye and Sele [E., 1447] on 3 August 1573, de jure.1 He was appointed Knight in 1592/93.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1594.1 He was Envoy to the Landgrave of Hese, along with his cousin, 2nd Earl of Lincoln in 1596.1 He was created 1st Baron Saye and Sele [England] on 9 August 1603, with a special remainder to heirs general.1 He held the office of Keeper of Banbury Castle in October 1603.1 He was envoy in the suite of the Ambassador to Archduke Albert of Austria at Brussels,1st Earl of Hertford between April 1605 and May 1605.1

Sir Edward Farmer was the son of George Farmer and Elizabeth Oldfield.1 He married Margaret Hewett, daughter of Sir Thomas Hewett, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lytton, on 25 April 1658 at St. Andrew, Holborn, London, England.2,3 He died from 24 December 1695 to 17 August 1696.3 His will was proven (by probate) on 17 August 1696.3
He lived at Cannons, Great Parendon, Essex, England.2,3 He was appointed Knight on 14 July 1660.3 His last will was dated 24 December 1695.3
