Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Luke Bath, 1st Bt. and Cicely Dowdall.1 He and Margaret Talbot obtained a marriage license on 2 March 1684/85.1 He died on 10 May 1686, without male issue.1 His will (dated 10 May 1686) was proven (by probate) on 12 February 1686/87.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bath, of Athearne, co. Meath [I., 1666] in 1674.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Margaret Talbot was born before 1670. She was the daughter of John Talbot.1 She and Sir Peter Bath, 2nd Bt. obtained a marriage license on 2 March 1684/85.1 She died between June 1732 and June 1733.1 Her will (dated 2 June 1732) was proven (by probate) on 8 June 1733.1
     From 2 March 1684/85, her married name became Bath.1 She lived at Belgard, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Writtle Agriculture College, Chelmsford, Essex, EnglandG.1 He held the office of County Councillor for Suffolk between 1989 and 1993.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Batho, of Frinton, co.      Sir Maurice Benjamin Batho, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 January 1910.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Albert Batho, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Parker.1 He married Antoinette Marie d'Udekem d'Acoz, daughter of Baron Paul d'Udekem d'Acoz and Madeleine Burggravin de Nieulant et de Pottelsberghe, on 28 May 1934.1 He died on 12 January 1990 at age 79 at Deben, Suffolk, England.1,2
     Sir Maurice Benjamin Batho, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Benjamin.3 He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Batho, of Frinton, co.      Sir Charles Albert Batho, 1st Bt. was born on 7 October 1872.1 He was the son of William Smith Batho.1 He married Elizabeth Parker, daughter of Benjamin Parker, on 10 February 1897.1 He died on 29 January 1938 at age 65.1
     He was a ships' store and export merchant.1 He held the office of Alderman of the City of London, for Aldgate.1 He was Lieutenant of the City of London.1 He was a director of the LNER.1 He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London between 1925 and 1926.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1926.1 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1927 and 1928.1 He was awarded the Order of Sirdar el Ali of Afghanistan in 1928.1 He was created 1st Baronet Batho, of Frinton, co. Essex [U.K.] on 19 October 1928.1 He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)1 He was awarded the Médaille du roi Albert I des Belges.1 He became a Freeman of the City of Londonderry in 1937.1
