     John Beatty Barrington was born on 18 July 1859.1 He was the son of Sir Croker Barrington, 4th Bt. and Anna Felicia West.1 He married Catherine Charlotte Bayly, daughter of John Bayly and Mary Anne Charlotte Barrington, on 2 August 1887.1 He died on 16 September 1926 at age 67.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of Limerick.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1912.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1

Catherine Charlotte Bayly1

     Catherine Charlotte Bayly was the daughter of John Bayly and Mary Anne Charlotte Barrington.1 She married John Beatty Barrington, son of Sir Croker Barrington, 4th Bt. and Anna Felicia West, on 2 August 1887.1 She died on 3 April 1937.1
     From 2 August 1887, her married name became Barrington.1

     Major John Barrington was born on 2 June 1899.1 He was the son of John Beatty Barrington and Catherine Charlotte Bayly.1 He married, firstly, Joan Mary Jameson, daughter of William Bellingham Jameson and Evelyn Constance Campbell, on 23 January 1928.1 He and Joan Mary Jameson were divorced in 1947.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Eileen Hewson, daughter of Reverend Henry Brownrigg Hewson and Susan Penelope Tuthill, on 30 April 1949.1 He died on 4 January 1961 at age 61, without issue.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1919.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Permanent President of the Courts Martial of the Military Government of Germany.1

     Joan Mary Jameson is the daughter of William Bellingham Jameson and Evelyn Constance Campbell.1,2 She married Major John Barrington, son of John Beatty Barrington and Catherine Charlotte Bayly, on 23 January 1928.1 She and Major John Barrington were divorced in 1947.1
     From 23 January 1928, her married name became Barrington.1
