     Sir Nicholas Barnewall was the son of Sir Christopher Barnewall and Matilda Drake.1 He married Ismay Serjeant, daughter of Sir Robert Serjeant.1
     He lived at Crickstown, County Meath, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1461.1

Robert Barnewall, 1st Baron Trimlestown1

     Robert Barnewall, 1st Baron Trimlestown was the son of Sir Christopher Barnewall and Matilda Drake.1 He married Anne Browne, daughter of Christopher Browne.2 He died before 1471/72.2
     He was appointed Knight before 8 August 1455.2 He was created 1st Baron Trimlestown, of Trimlestown, co. Meath [Ireland] on 4 March 1461.2
