     David Peter Barlow was born on 8 January 1931.1 He was the son of W/Cdr. Sir Richard Hugh Barlow, 6th Bt. and Rosamund Sylvia de la Fontaine Anderton.1 He married Mary June Emmerton, daughter of William Stephen Emmerton, on 24 June 1958.1 He died on 17 October 2018 at age 87 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Gloucester Regiment.1 He was an engineer for the Provincial Government of British Columbia between 1962 and 1996.1 He lived in 2003 at 1335 Franklin Terrace, Victoria, British Columbia, CanadaG.1

     Janeth Japa is the daughter of Manuel Japa.1 She married Peter Stephen Barlow, son of David Peter Barlow and Mary June Emmerton, on 31 August 2000.1
     From 31 August 2000, her married name became Barlow.1
