     Colonel James Hodgson was born in 1764 at Carlisle, Cumberland, England^G.² He was the son of Richard Hodgson and Mary Clark.² He married Maria Theresa Hardwick on 17 March 1799 at Cawnpore, India^G.² He died in 1825 at Carlisle, Cumberland, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He lived at Carlisle, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 9th Bt. was born on 26 May 1830 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 8th Bt. and Maria Hodgson.¹ He married Alicia Hester Caroline Dobbs, daughter of Conway Richard Dobbs and Charlotte Maria Sinclair, on 6 April 1853.¹ He died on 25 June 1883 at age 53.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Kildare in 1854.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kildare.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Aylmer, of Donadea, co. Kildare [I., 1622] on 8 February 1878.¹

     Alicia Hester Caroline Dobbs was born on 6 January 1831 at Castle Dobbs, County Antrim, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of Conway Richard Dobbs and Charlotte Maria Sinclair.³ She married Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 9th Bt., son of Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 8th Bt. and Maria Hodgson, on 6 April 1853.³ She died on 6 March 1907 at age 76.⁴
     From 6 April 1853, her married name became Aylmer.³

     Conway Richard Dobbs was born on 18 July 1795.² He was the son of Richard Conway Dobbs and Nichola Obins.³ He married, firstly, Charlotte Maria Sinclair, daughter of William Sinclair, in 1826 at County Antrim, Ireland^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Winifred Susannah Morris, daughter of Benjamin Morris, in 1875.² He died on 28 February 1886 at age 90.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carrickfergus in 1832.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1841.² He lived at Castle Dobbs, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Charlotte Maria Sinclair was born circa 1800 at Fort William, County Antrim, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of William Sinclair.¹ She married Conway Richard Dobbs, son of Richard Conway Dobbs and Nichola Obins, in 1826 at County Antrim, Ireland^G.²
     From circa 1821, her married name became Dobbs.²

     William Sinclair was born circa 1763 at Fort William, County Antrim, Ireland^G.²
     He lived at Fort William, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir Justin Gerald Aylmer, 10th Bt. was born on 17 November 1863.¹ He was the son of Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 9th Bt. and Alicia Hester Caroline Dobbs.¹ He died on 15 May 1885 at age 21 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, as a result of a fall from his bicycle, unmarried.¹
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in October 1882.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Aylmer, of Donadea, co. Kildare [I., 1622] on 25 June 1883.¹

     Caroline Maria Aylmer was the daughter of Sir Gerald George Aylmer, 9th Bt. and Alicia Hester Caroline Dobbs.¹ She died on 13 May 1935.²
     In March 1885 she inherited Donadea Castle from her brother, Justin.¹

     Sir Arthur Percy Aylmer, 11th Bt. was born on 31 August 1801.¹ He was the son of Sir Fenton Aylmer, 7th Bt. and Jane Grace Evans-Freke.¹ He married Martha Reynell, daughter of Richard Reynell, on 12 December 1833.¹ He died on 7 May 1885 at age 83 at Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1823 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1826 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Aylmer, of Donadea, co. Kildare [I., 1622] on 15 March 1885.¹

     Martha Reynell was born circa 1810.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Reynell.¹ She married Sir Arthur Percy Aylmer, 11th Bt., son of Sir Fenton Aylmer, 7th Bt. and Jane Grace Evans-Freke, on 12 December 1833.¹ She died on 3 February 1887 at Park View, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
     From 12 December 1833, her married name became Aylmer.¹
