     William Ruddell was born in 1812.² He was the son of James Ruddell and Ann McMurray.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Galbraith in 1840.      Wallace Ruddell Aykroyd was born on 30 July 1899.¹ He was the son of Alfred Constantine Aykroyd and Wilhelmina Mary Ruddell.¹ He married Freda Kathleen Buttery, daughter of Harry Brazier Buttery, on 18 October 1930.¹ He died in February 1979 at age 79.¹

     Freda Kathleen Buttery is the daughter of Harry Brazier Buttery.¹ She married Wallace Ruddell Aykroyd, son of Alfred Constantine Aykroyd and Wilhelmina Mary Ruddell, on 18 October 1930.¹
     From 18 October 1930, her married name became Aykroyd.¹
