Sir William Ashburnham, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1677.1 He was the son of Sir Denny Ashburnham, 1st Bt. and Anne Watkins.1 He married Margaret Pelham, daughter of Sir Nicholas Pelham and Jane Huxley, on 7 June 1701.1,2 He died on 7 November 1755, without issue.1,3 He was buried on 8 November 1755 at Guestling, Sussex, EnglandG.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ashburnham, of Bromham [in Guestling], Sussex [E., 1661] in December 1697.1 He was a Commissioner of the Alienation Office.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings between 1710 and 1713.1 He held the office of Chamberlain of the Exchequer between 1710 and 1755.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Seaford between 1715 and 1717.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings between 1722 and 1741.1

Sir Charles Ashburnham, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1680.1 He was the son of Sir Denny Ashburnham, 1st Bt. and Anne Watkins.1 He married unknown wife (?) before 1710.2 He died on 3 October 1762.1 He was buried at Chichester Cathedral, Chichester, Sussex, EnglandG.1
Before 1710 he married an unknown person, and this obscure marriage is probably the reason he inherited the titles but not the family estates.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ashburnham, of Bromham [in Guestling], Sussex [E., 1661] on 7 November 1755.1

Reverend Sir William Ashburnham, 4th Bt. was born on 16 January 1710.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Ashburnham, 3rd Bt. and unknown wife (?)1,2 He married Margaret Pelham, daughter of Thomas Pelham and Elizabeth Pelham, on 9 November 1736 at Guestling, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He died on 4 September 1797 at age 87.1 He was buried on 14 September 1797 at Guestling, Sussex, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 5 October 1797.1
