     Charles Scott Belli was born in 1826 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He was the son of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ He married Ellen Sophia Julia Boddam, daughter of Rawson Hart Boddam and Ellen Kezia Hungerford.¹ He died in 1917.¹
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.²

     Alfred Cockerell Smyth Belli was born on 31 January 1830 at Hooghly, Bengal, India^G.¹ He was the son of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ He died on 5 March 1850 at age 20.¹

     Mary Susannah Belli was born in 1827.¹ She was the daughter of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ She died on 31 May 1828.¹

     Adelaide Fanny Spring Belli was born on 29 April 1831 at Hooghly, Bengal, India^G.¹ She was the daughter of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ She was baptised on 29 May 1831 at Chinsurah, Bengal, India^G.¹ She married Thomas Bruce Lane, son of Reverend Charles Lane and Frances Catherine Sandford, on 20 July 1853 at St. Paul's Cathedral, Calcutta, India^G.¹ She and Thomas Bruce Lane were divorced in 1879.¹ She died in 1906 at Upper Norwood, London, England.¹
     From 20 July 1853, her married name became Lane.¹

     Thomas Bruce Lane was born on 29 April 1831 at Morebath, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Lane and Frances Catherine Sandford.¹ He married Adelaide Fanny Spring Belli, daughter of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman, on 20 July 1853 at St. Paul's Cathedral, Calcutta, India^G.¹ He and Adelaide Fanny Spring Belli were divorced in 1879.¹ He died in January 1917 at age 85 at Muswell Hill, London, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was Customs Officer with the Honourable East Company India Service.¹

     Augustus John Bayley Belli was born on 22 July 1832.¹ She was the daughter of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ She died at London, England^G, unmarried.¹

     Walter Forbes Belli was born in 1833.¹ He was the son of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ He died on 22 November 1861 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands^G.¹
     He was educated between 1844 and 1849 at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Bengal Army.¹

     Sarah Maria Hill Belli was born on 24 February 1835 at India.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Hallowes Belli and Sarah Sherman.¹ She married Francis Stafford Pipe-Wolferstan, son of Stanley Pipe-Wolferstan and Elizabeth Jervis, on 31 July 1859.¹ She died on 19 November 1906 at age 71.¹
     From 31 July 1859, her married name became Pipe-Wolferstan.¹
