Peter Haden-Guest, 4th Baron Haden-Guest was born on 29 August 1913.1 He was the son of Leslie Haden-Guest, 1st Baron Haden-Guest and Muriel Carmel Goldsmid.1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Louise Ruth Wolpert, daughter of Paul Wolpert, in 1939.1 He and Elizabeth Louise Ruth Wolpert were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Jean Pauline Hindes, daughter of Dr. Albert George Hindes, in 1945.1 He died on 15 April 1996 at age 82.1
He was educated at City of London School, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was also known as Peter Michael a stage name.1 He was a dancer with Markova-Dolin Ballet, Ballet Divertissement, Ballet Theatre, Ballett Jooss and the Repertory Dance Theatre between 1935 and 1941.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1938 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was a United Nations official between 1946 and 1972.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Haden-Guest, of Saling, co. Essex [U.K., 1950] in 1987.1

Edith Low was the daughter of Max Low.1 She married Leslie Haden-Guest, 1st Baron Haden-Guest, son of Dr. Alexander Haden-Guest, in 1898.1 She and Leslie Haden-Guest, 1st Baron Haden-Guest were divorced in 1909.1 She died in 1944.1
