Sir William Allen, 1st Bt. was the son of Edmund Anguish and Alice Allin.1 He married Frances Ashurst, daughter of Sir Henry Ashurst, 1st Bt. and Hon. Dyana Paget, circa 1710.1 He died on 19 October 1725.1
He was given the name of William Anguish at birth.1 In October 1696 he inherited the estate of SOmerleyton from his maternal uncle, Sir Robert Allen, 2nd Bt.1 He was also known as William Allin as of October 1696.1 He was created 1st Baronet Allin, of Somerleyton, co. Suffolk [England] on 14 December 1699.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich between 1709 and 1710.1

Sir Henry Ashurst, 1st Bt. was born on 8 September 1645.1 He was the son of Henry Ashurst and Judith Reresby.1 He was baptised on 14 September 1645 at St. Augustine's, Watling Street, London, EnglandG.1 He married Hon. Dyana Paget, daughter of Sir William Paget, 5th Lord Paget (of Beaudesert) and Lady Frances Rich, on 26 March 1670.1 He died on 13 April 1711 at age 65.1 He was buried on 28 April 1711 at Waterstock, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 9 December 1710) was proven (by probate) on 11 May 1711.1

Reverend Sir Ashurst Allin, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1720.1 He was the son of Sir William Allen, 1st Bt. and Frances Ashurst.1 He married Thomazine Playters, daughter of Colonel unknown Playters and Caroline (?), before 1741.1 He died on 6 November 1770.1 His will was proven (by probate) in March 1773.1
He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1739 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was the Rector at Blunston cum Flixton, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Allin, of Somerleyton, co. Suffolk [E., 1699] on 12 August 1765.1
